During studies, you’re responsible to actively participate. For example, if you’re participating in a Focus Group, this means voicing your opinion with others about a given topic and offering honest and thorough feedback.

What do Research Studies actually pay?
This is the million-dollar question! While we’d love to say every study pays $400 for a two-hour discussion, the truth is that compensation varies.
Payment depends on several factors, including the type of study (online survey vs. in-person session), the length of the session, and the level of complexity involved.
On average, participants can expect to receive $80–$150 per hour.
The honorarium is always clearly outlined before you agree to participate, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
Do “I” have to pay?
JMRS and our associates will never ask you for payment. Your opinion has value, so it’s the company conducting the research that pays you.
Participants are typically compensated by cash or e-transfer.
How often can I participate?
Sometimes a couple months – It all depends if you fit the criteria the companies are seeking, your availability and more.
